Cal Ripken Jr.’s mother says a man who kidnapped her at gunpoint, tied her up and blindfolded her didn’t seem to know she was in the famous baseball family. Police say 74-year-old Vi Ripken was found bound in the back of her car Wednesday morning, about a day after she was kidnapped from her home outside Baltimore.
