This is so very sad, my heart goes out to the young man. I can only hope and prey he forgets this happened to him and go on with his life. And that this is a wake up call for all airlines, you can not treat our children with such disrespect! Shame on American Airlines, I will Never fly with them again!! Southwest allows children with Down Syndrome to board in advance and asks if they need special seating or assistance, just as they would any person with a “different ability”.
