TX Girl That Tanked National Anthem Gets Reprieve

After catching a tremendous backlash for her interpretation of the National Anthem at an MLS game in Dallas, Harper Gruzins got a chance to show everyone watching that she’s actually a good singer.

    Sorry, she STILL sucks, and she STILL acts like she’s Miss Thang.

    Can she not sustain a note, for God’s sake? It’s really, really not that difficult to take out some of the ornamentation and sing a pure note.

    And she’s still horrendous. I am all for encouraging kids to follow their passions and get involved in music, but really, there’s a line between encouragement and lying. And whomever picked her to sing in the first place crossed that line.
