A 37-year-old man is in jail, charged with shooting the victim and allegedly cutting his head off with a shovel. It was a shocking discovery. A mailman found a decomposing decapitated body found in a field. The man had tattoos on his arm and back. “I’m at a loss for words. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how I feel,” says the victim’s wife Ashly Thompson. Ashly Thompson grieves the loss of her husband, 48 year old Erman Thompson. The Thompsons lived on Claiborne Street with three children and another man, the alleged killer, 37 year old Henry Baxter.
